Danish retro pop dance band The Asteroids Galaxy Tour called it quits in 2018. They had quite a bit of luck during their tenure, with some of thier songs being picked for high profile ad campaigns - their sunnyside up music was just begging to be used by risk avoiding marketing types. Listeners who dug a little deeper soon found that this was a band that could actually play and that its members were way smarter than their bubblegum image.
Their popularity reached a peak in 2009 with the release of their Fruit album. For reasons unknown it was decided that it needed an expanded reissue, with nothing really worthwhile being added. A couple of remixes, EP versions and outtakes that were left in the can back then for good reason. The whole thing is on Spotify.
