Chicago based singer-songwriter Lillian King circles around the notes on her new single Echo, making it a harder sell for her upcoming album In Your Long Shadow. It is basically a mish mash of tidbits she created over a prolonged time and then capture as a whole in one studio session. It is a bit uneven, but that adds to the charm. with Nick DePrey (organ) and Robert Salazar (drums) trying to figure out what she was aiming for with this leftfield folk song.
Echo is released via Pronounced Kroog. Her debut album In Your Long Shadow will be available on October 24 (vinyl, digital).
