English singer and guitarist Matt Saxton looks back on a couple having a spot of bother in a relationship on his new single Rough Patch. Spoiler: they were able to smooth things out. It is a power ballad of sorts, wherein he is his own backing vocalist leading up to a saxophone solo that comes straight out of the 70s. His gravelly voice is a nice contrast for the carefully crafted arrangement.
