NYC jangling indie pop trio Jeanines are contemplating the ups and downs in personal life on their new album How Long Can It Last. The band's songwrriter Alicia Jeanine does not spare herself - fucking up is human after all - but sharing the blame is not too much to ask from the other party.
Making melancholic, lo-fi soul-searching pop songs is way cheaper than couples therapy, plus it will offer solace to anyone who is in the midst of a similar predicament. And it will strike a chord for those in need of a dose of 60s-tinged pop with three-part harmonies thrown in for good measure.
Jeanines:
Alicia Jeanine: vocals, guitar, bass, violin
Jed Smith: vocals, guitar, bass, drums
Maggie Gaster: vocals, bass
How Long Can It Last will be released on June 27 via Skepwax (UK - vinyl, CD) and slumberland records (US - vinyl, CD).
