NYC musician Ben Fitts is best known as the guitarist for War Honey. Being in a band always come with some constraints and comprosises,, so maybe that is why he needed an outlet wherein he could anything he pleases. As Conan The Accountant he explores the outer regions of noise rock, wrecking havoc on electric guitar, banjolele, ukelele, white noise machine, and metronome. His new album Witch burns all the rules of regular rock at the stake, using his effect pedals in ways that never are discussed in the manual. It is pretty damn intense, the soundtrack that Gotham needs now that the crazies and fascists are having the upper hand. The music swirls like the smoke in back alleys late at night. It will clear the rooms of hipsters and jocks, as the afficionados will stick around, with their jaws on the ground, before hitting the repeat button to be knocked down by the groundswell of glorious noise again.
