Dallet Band: Electric Judas!

The Dallet Band are known as rather good live band, but now that their blend of rock and folk can't be heard on stage they decided to try to bottle the excitement in the studio. Their new EP Electric Judas! - named after the famous heckling incident at Bob Dylan's show at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester on May 16, 1965 - kicks off with a spoken word piece about it before giving way to an one-point tribute called Song for Bobby. And it's only fitting that they follow suit with Glitter and Gore a full-on electric blues rock assault about a femme fatale.

They play lowdown and dirty and it is tight as fuck, making the lack of the abiltily to attend live shows a little more bearable. Just close your eyes and picture them barreling through Livin' on in Vain and taking it a down a notch with Wasn't That Supposed to Be Me?. Fingers crossed that this Denver, Colorado based band can hit the road again in the near future. Recommended if you like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
