Screaming blues band Low Society will release their new You Can't Keep A Good Woman Down on Icehouse Records on September 23. The album was mixed at American Recording in Memphis by Will Danger and the band's guitar ace Sturgis Nikides. Guest players include sax legend Herman Green (BB King, Rufus Thomas, Count Basie, John Coltrane) and Rick Steff on keys (Lucero, Dexys Midnight Runners). The album was mastered at Ardent studios by Larry and Kevin Nix, who got the equipment and the ears to get it right for a vinyl release.

Low Society:
Mandy Lemons: vocals
Sturgis Nikides: electric slide & National Steel guitars, vocals
Nick Dodson: bass
Mike Munn: drums

  1. Minor correction - Larry and Kevin Nix mastered the album for CD and vinyl. The mixing was done at American Recording by Will Danger and myself. I would be remiss if I neglected to thank everyone involved in this endeavor so far, especially Johnny Phillips and Brad Dunn. It's a breakthrough for this band, and we will be forever grateful!
