San Francisco area band The Hot Dark are into progressive jazz rock. Founded by Kiel Williams and Rick Moore, previouslyof the studio project Descendants of Prospectors, until the urge to play live got the better of them.
In Retrospect is the stand-out from their 3-track January 2013 EP - synth and sax driven indie rock mashed up with a Sixties TV soundtrack feel. The other tracks, Blossom and I and We, are more straightforward.
