Says She's Ms. Blat: Stinger

Says She's Ms. Blat are back with a new full-length. The NYC based keyboards/drums duo spend ta little over two years to complete the nine tracks on Stinger. Singer Lottie Leymarie shows off her classical piano training in a twisted, with loud stop-and-start mayhem on the keyboards, while drummer and producer Brett Puchir plays up a storm - it sounds like he found a few extra limbs in the recording studio.

Pigeonholing their sound is a challenge, but vaudevillian psychedelic rock comes close. Stinger is album that invites boozing and mischief. Songs like Violent Nudity and Slow Jam will never be on mainstream radio, but with the increasing influence of the web that doesn't matter all that much. Says She's Ms. Blat's sexy racket will find their audience through word-of-mouth.
