Phish have re-released all six volumes of their Live Bait series. Originally available as free MP3 downloads, they now can be purchased in MP3, ALAC and FLAC.
Vol.1 and Vol.2 feature Summer 2010 tour tracks - don't bother with those if you have already picked up the full shows from that tour. Vol. 3, 4, 5 and 6 are archival collections with a theme: Worcester (3). previous Summer tours (4), Festivals (5) and Colorado (6). All sets compiled by Phish Archivist Kevin Shapiro.

ReplyDeleteGreat update on the Live Bait series, it's cool to see all six volumes being re-released in higher-quality formats after originally being free downloads. The themed archival collections, especially the Worcester and festival-focused volumes, really show how carefully these tracks were curated by archivist Kevin Shapiro . It’s interesting how even music releases evolve over time, kind of like how a reflective nike tech piece combines modern style with function, these re-releases blend nostalgia with improved listening quality.
