Anna Bradley: Pavo

The bast of both worlds? Kabir Kumar, the leader of indie band Anna Bradley lives in Berkeley and New York and a mash-up of the East and West Coast styles is to be expected. Sure enough there are pop sensibilities buried under the Big Apple rumbling fast-paced postpunk.

The full-length Pavo is a dark record, dealing with adolescent fears and hang-ups. Thankfully no emo self-pity and complaining about a world that doesn't understand them. Rough around the edges, something they should cherish and preserve for future projects.

Anna Bradley:
Evan-Daniel Rose-González: bass
Daniel Reid: drums
Daniel Fisher: guitar
Kabir Kumar: guitar
