Funny how time slips away when you're an indie rock icon. Upon its release in 1990, the Sonic Youth album Goo was considered a huge step toward the mainstream, and people took sides either for or against this "late Sonic Youth" sound. (..)
So why not give Goo the museum treatment, with a dee-luxe reish featuring "the original LP remastered along with remixed/remastered 8-track demos, B-sides, rehearsal tracks, studio out-takes and more?" Funny you should ask, because the official Sonic Youth website says they're preparing to do just that.
